  1. I’m am definitely a multi-tasker. Especialy, when I am on the computer and browsing the internet or writing papers. As soon as an email comes in — I quickly stop what I’m doing and jump into reading the email! It’s as if it’s the most important email that I will EVER read!! Ha.

I’ve been on a mission to stop this crazy behavior because of the points listed above. What has helped is to chunk my time. So, I usually check personal emails only twice a week — Wednesday and Sunday and one time. When I don’t check my email, I make sure to quit the mail program so I don’t get tempted to check.

That’s great discipline you’ve got there Bernadette! I try not to look at my email before 10AM. And I do set regular time to go through emails so that I can concentrate on getting things done. My down fall? When I get a really good blog post from one of my favorite sites – I immediately want to go check it out and then I am down the rabbit hole I go, forgetting all about email – LOL! My goal is to get to the elusive Zero Inbox.
      Thanks for sharing!
