You Won’t Commit to Your Business Until Your “Why” is Big Enough

why

I used to be a disciplined wisher.

I wished everyday that I could start a coaching practice, work with brilliant clients, and get paid to speak to rooms full of people about creating careers they could love and live with. I stayed a disciplined wisher for a long time, even while I was taking coaching classes and blogging about career makeovers. In the back of my mind as the economy swirled around me and my good job kept getting better and better, I really hadn’t made a commitment to be “in business.” What changed my commitment and the trajectory of my business was getting to the root of my “Why.”

In this video I share why your “why” is critical to the success and growth of your business.

So what’s your “why”? If you are stuck trying to figure it out – schedule a complimentary JumpStart session to get unstuck.

  1. Tai, your video was right on point. I just left an online marketing conference and did some soul searching on “my why“. If you have a big enough why, it doesn’t matter how much you make on your Job or how comfortable your current life is. It will not be enough.

  2. Tai, this video is awesome. This is something I struggle with as well. I think my why is about all those things you mentioned: wanting to be my own boss and having freedom to travel. But really why I do what I do is because I have an urge to help women get over their technology fears by knowing they can handle it themselves or feel confident hiring someone to help them with technology instead of spending hours upon hours of time figuring it out. That has become clearer to me recently and I think it will get even more clear as time goes on. Great post!
